Intro

First of lets start from asking what is traffic?

Internet traffic - is the flow of data in the Internet. It includes web traffic, which is the amount of that data that is related to the World Wide Web, along with the traffic from other major uses of the Internet, such as electronic mail and peer-to-peer networks.

In other words the amount of people that are going to your site.

Before you start getting into traffic you should have you lading page set up and ready to drive people to buy. This could be a Squidoo page, website anything that I mentioned in the lading page course.

Now in this part of the course I will show you how to get traffic coming to your site so you can start making sales as soon as possible.

2 Ways To Go

Now like everything that I teach there is always 2 ways to go. You can do it the paid way if you have money to invest, or there is the Free way to do it that is harder.

But first let take the rout of the FREE way to getting traffic.

Article Writing

One of the most popular ways to get free traffic is through writing articles. You would write articles about relevant topic and topic where you can also do a small promotion at the end of you article.

For this you are also going to need to know about and apply Keyword Researc, (which is Affiliate Marketing Training Course - 4c ).

But for an example of a good article to write, here it is.

Say a huge boxing or UFC fight is coming up and you can see through keyword research that a lot of people are looking up that fight, and there is not a lot of competition.

That means it would be easy for the page that you write to rank high in Google Searches.

Well you would write an article about the fight using the keyword that people are using to look up information about the fight in search engines. And you write you article around that word or those words, depending if you want to target multiple keywords. And give information or an opinion or anything that talks about the fight that you think people would want to hear about.

For an example you could write a short biography about the fighters history. HBO does that a lot when they are doing promotions for upcoming fights.

Then in the end you can promote this product Satellite Tv For PC

Satellite Tv for PC is a software that allows you to watch Live TV on you computer.

and say “want to watch the fight on your computer check this out”. But instead of having it linked to the official pitch pages site you have it linked to your website. And have them read you pre-sale page, have then get excited about the product then have then click to the official pitch page ready to buy.

That is how you would base you article writing.

sign up for every single one if you want and send the article to them all. I know that is a lot of work, and I mean a lot of work. And

Video

Another Great way to get free traffic is through making video and posting them on video hosting sites link YouTube.com.

So what would I make my video on? There is a couple method you can use when making a video for affiliate marketing.

You can:

• Go over a pitch page and talk about the product.
• You can do a video review/insiders preview.
• you can do an video article/powerpoint/sideshow and talk about the topic.
• Or you can just make a blog style video and just talk into a camera about the product.

for most of the method I mentioned you are going to need a computer screen recording software now the good one is camtasia and i strongly recommend it, but it is very expensive.

But there is also a free one out there called Cam Studio

which is enough to get you started.

Just like the Articles you are going to want to send the videos to a lot of different video hosting sites. Here is a list of the top video hosting sites http://www.jackhumphrey.com/fridaytrafficreport/list-of-29-free-video-sharing-sites/

you can sign up to every on and submit your video to all of them. But there is a better way to do it, and that way is called TubeMogul.com it is 100% Free and it will submit your video to about 15 of the top video hosting site out there.

All you have to do is create an account and start submitting video. The website will show you how to do so.

Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking is a way to submit you link with a little discrption about the the page, to a social bookmarking site, where a lot of people hang out and our waiting to see what you are going to link to them.

You want to submit every page you make to as many social bookmarking site any you can. if you write an article, submit it to all the social bookmarking sites. If you make a new web page, submit it to all the social bookmarking sites.

Social bookmarking site will not only get you direct traffic form the site, but it is also good for creating backlinks your website, which is good for you Google PR.

You can go through this list of bookmarking site http://mashable.com/2007/08/08/social-bookmarking-2/ create an account for every individual site on that web page (the link is up above)and every time you make a new page you would have to bookmark every page you make individually. But that would be so hard and annoying to do I dont think anyone would want to become an affiliate marketer.

There is a free site called OnlyWire that submits you bookmarks automaticly, but its only to about 15 site. If you have NO money to start with I would use this but if you have enough for the Bookmarking Demon.

That is the best way to go.
